I am the crime correspondent at The Times, where I cover breaking crime stories and court cases in addition to writing features, reports and investigations. I am also a contributor to Times Radio.
My stories have been published in the Sunday Mirror, the Guardian, VICE and FADER. Data-driven stories, amplifying under-represented voices and on-the-ground reporting form a big part of my work. In 2021 I was shortlisted for the Outstanding Journalism prize at the Criminal Justice Alliance Media Awards.
Previously, I worked at The i Paper, Press Association and The Sun; I joined the tabloid’s two-year graduate training scheme and was later promoted to a health reporter.
I started in journalism at the South London Press, The Voice and the Camden New Journal; I door-knocked my way around inner-London, reported from courts, crime scenes, community events and interviewed scores of local heroes. It was the best training.
